Full Moon + Cacao Ceremony

April 7th 7:30-9:00pm

On April 7th, we will get to experience whats known as a “Full Pink Super Moon”. This Full Moon in Libra, within the Aries season, is teaching us how to share our life’s journey with other people. Libra brings our attention to our relationships. Before looking at our connections with those around us, though, we must first look at the relationship with ourselves. We must first develop our own emotional intelligence and understand our feelings before truly merging and empathizing with another.

The Libra Full Moon is a time to create balance in all of our partnerships and adjust them as needed so both parties are thriving on their path. It’s an opportunity to recognize who may be limiting your growth and who may be nourishing it.

The Full Moon is always a powerful time to shed unwanted energies. Use this time to clear away negative patterns within yourself and your relationships through the help of the Full Moon ceremony, and make space for new energies to come into your life.

In honor of the full moon, we will celebrate with a beautiful Cacao ceremony filled with mindful movement, guided meditation and community (all through Zoom!)

This sacred ceremony is meant to bring you closer to your heart and all that you yearn for. We’ll harness the power of the full moon to honor what you would like to let go of and guide your intentions into your heart space. Join us for this intimate workshop – give yourself mental and physical space, retreat inwards, learn more about yourself, understand where you are and celebrate where you are going.

Cacao comes from the cacao bean. The word cacao actually came from the Maya word Ka’kau, and the Maya word Chokola’j — which means to drink chocolate together. The cacao plant is seen as a medicinal plant, and has been used for a number of spiritual, medicinal and ceremonial purposes throughout history.

Through opening the heart, Cacao enables us to hear our true self, work through blockages and past traumas, dissolve any pent up negative energy, and help us align with who we truly are.

Attendees will receive a Full Moon Affirmation card, a rose quartz crystal to really open and ignite your heart space, and Cacao (with directions on how to make your ceremonial cacao drink for the workshop).

New Moon April Ceremony

New Moon, Intention, Cacao + Plants Ceremony

April 24th 6-9pm

On April 24th, we will get to experience the first New Moon of a new season, Spring!! The New Moon is a time of embracing new projects, ideas, plans, thoughts, relationships and the changes we wish to invite into our lives. It is a time of seeding intentions and of opening to the new possibilities that are brought by another lunar cycle.

In honor of the new moon, we will celebrate with a beautiful Cacao ceremony filled with candlelight, mindful movement, plant-making, guided meditation and community. The wonderful Samantha Carney, of Blossom Bright, Doorway of Light, and CoastalRoots Apothecary, will be leading us through a sound healing drum meditation. The incredible, Maryann Gibbons, Founder of Plants + Ponytails will guide our attendees through their very own plant potting experience to really experience the feel of the earth under your fingertips. Ciara Desmond, owner of Wicked Om Yoga, will then guide attendees through mindful movement with breath work and asanas that honor the moon.

At this time of the year, the ground begins to soften enough for earthworm casts to reappear, inviting robins and other birds to feed—a true sign of spring. Roots start to push their way up through the soil, and the Earth experiences a re-birth as it awakens from its winter slumber. This is what we experience when we set intentions with the new moon energy.
